ARTIST STATEMENT

In my opinion, the practice based upon the realistic approach, is still a significant connection which is between the artist and the audience, even when digital media making its way into this world. What does the artist convey to the temperature of the soul and the uniqueness of life? How do we transform familiar scenery and the passion of art into an exclusive work? In my creation, I am devoting that reality is created through paint and through brush. This is my goal.
Monks in Eastern religions have always been a subject that is fascinating to me. The simplicity and stability shown by the monks, as well as their soul-cleansing smiles. This took me away from my daily stressful life in Taipei. When the master held the disciple’s hand with his loving eyes, I felt that divinity in my heart, and seemed to take me back to my long-lost hometown.
In my works, I found my peace of mind. I wish this peace and beauty will be with you, too.

​個人淺見，即便今時今日，我們的世界充滿優異的影像科技，以寫實為基礎所練就出來的深厚技法，仍是作者與觀眾之間溝通的重要橋樑。透過寫實技法，作者傳達的是靈魂的溫度以及生命的獨特性。如何將熟悉的景象，透過對創作的熱情，重新詮釋成獨一無二的景緻，是我目前所致力的目標。
東方宗教中的僧侶們，一直是很吸引我的一種主題。僧侶們展現出的樸實與安定，以及能洗滌心靈的笑容令我暫離了平日神經緊繃的台北生活。當師父牽引著徒弟的手，他慈愛的眼神，令我相信了自己內心也存在著神性，彷彿帶我回到了久違的家鄉。
