關於展覽

喬 藝術空間Chiao Art Space 的落成,是 藝術家 陳裔喬為了深化藝術專業所打造的藝術工作室的重要里程碑,以「藍光變奏x凝視 」做為開幕展,將帶來不同文化衝擊的系列作與陳裔喬2021新作,如同藝術家陳裔喬所言:「每個藝術家人生都有不同的階段,而藝術思考因所經歷不同,人生每個階段的藝術創作變化也會隨著歷練而改變!」

藝術家陳裔喬所探討的:觀眾是否可以通過藝術達到情感或精神上的聯繫? 「藍光變奏x凝視 」是存在於藝術思考中的深層精神思考,連結創作者與觀者不受當下的時空環境所侷限,在作品所闡述的世界中重新探討內心精神層次與人情感,並勾勒出凝視與精神的情緒輪廓。

在當代思潮下,藝術成為思想解放的開拓者,藝術創作的能力已不再止於學術圈或藝術圈的人的權利,藝術互動可以立基在大眾,只要不斷吸取文化養份,體驗藝術創作所帶來精神上的充實,也可以是啟發每一個人創作思考的起跑點,可以讓生活增添繽紛色彩。透過此展,體驗藝術共享空間,在忙碌的生活中讓藝術點綴生活的變化。

藝術在當代的思辨與文化交融下,在此展覽下,展出作品跨越歷史文化時代維度與精神層面的探討,點燃新生的藝術空間與新藝術種子的發芽。

藍光變奏

藍光x 虛實之間

藍色是最自然的顏色,抽象虛實之間,流動於灑於畫之中,探索自然,體現色彩,尋覓出口藍光,夢境的色調,彷彿置身在浩瀚的藍色宇宙之中,翻騰。「信仰的藍色」,「聖母的海藍」,自述在藍調的金色,以脫胎方式形灑出呈現,並以不同層次的藍調,自然的用色,溫柔堅毅與灑脫筆觸呈現,藍色語言廣大、高尚、希望、永恆、和平、寧靜、沉穩、安祥、潔淨。探索屬於不同金黃與藍調的交錯空間,呈現藍金色調相互交錯變奏流變,光影的多變樣的空間虛實樣貌

凝視

觀看的方式
沒有什麼語言比圖像的視覺凝視更令人印象深刻

陳裔喬:「為了重現圖像並創建視覺效果,我探索了攝影和繪畫。 但是,如何通過視覺表達情感和感受,以母親的角度為起點。 顯示我的感覺,角度,並與觀眾交流並回應這一代人,這是我想要探索的。」

凝視,本義是「注視」,「看」,但本義的擴展是指視覺傳達;也就是說,雙向「觀看」,或者也看到了觀看者。

About the exhibition

The completion of Chiao Art Space is an important milestone in the art studio created by artist Chen Yi-Chiao in order to deepen her art career. With “Blue-light Variations x Gaze” as the opening exhibition, a series of works will bring different cultural shocks and Chen Yi-Chiao’s new works which painted in 2021. Chen Yi-Chiao said: “Every artist has different stages in his or her life so that every artist has the different experiences to change every artist artistic thinking, and the changes in artistic creation at each stage of life will also change with experience!”

What the artist Chen Yi-Chiao discusses: ‘Whether an audience can achieve an emotional or spiritual connection through art? “Blue-light Variations x Gaze” is based on spiritual thinking, which exists in artistic thinking, connecting creators and viewers from the limitations of the current time and space environment. It is re-discussing the inner spiritual level and human emotions in the world, described in the work with outlines emotional contours of gaze and spirit.

Under the contemporary trend of thought, art has become the pioneer of ideological emancipation. The ability of artistic creation is no longer limited to the rights of people in the academic circle and the art circle. Blue-light Variations

Blue-light between virtual and real

Blue is the most natural color. It flows between the abstract and the real, and flows in the painting, exploring nature, reflecting the color, looking for the blue light, the tones of dreams, as if being in the vast blue universe, tumbling. “The Blue of Faith” and “The Sea Blue of Our Virgin”, self-reported in the gold of the blues, are presented in a reborn way and presented with different levels of blues, natural colors, gentle perseverance, and free and easy brushwork. Gaze

Way of Seeing

No language is more impressive than the visual gaze of images
Chen Yi-Chiao: “In order to reproduce images and create visual effects, I explored photography and painting. However, I how to express emotions and feelings through visuals, starting from the perspective of my mother. The original meaning of gaze is “watching” and “seeing”, but the expansion of the original meaning refers to visual communication; that is, two-way “watching”, or seeing the viewer.

Chen Yi-Chiao: “The characteristic of my use of “viewing” is to explore the personal identity of the viewer and the viewer-the relationship between the two, and extends to the gender, religion, and mother-child relationship of the individual as well as their social relationship. I think the link that is the audience’s personal identity with the emotions between the audience.”

In the context of religion, gaze always has a personal and collective dimension, because it activates the socially regulated spirit, shared images, and concepts, and responds to society’s expectations and norms for the status and expectations of the gazing subject. Attitudes towards what you see.

About the use of the Madonna icon on the blue background.

Chen Yi-Chiao: “In this series of works (part of works ), I don’t want to use blue in cloth, I was trying to use blue in the background to set off the golden fabric to showing a mother with radiance. Therefore, blue is very vital for the image of the Virgin, so I keep the icon and used the vital blue color as the background to highlight the golden clothes and the yellow-skinned Madonna to correspond.” As Peggy Orenstein has written, “pink was considered the more masculine hue, a pastel version of red. Blue, with its intimations of the Virgin Mary, constancy and faithfulness, was thought to be dainty.” Therefore, blue is very vital for the image of the Virgin, so I keep the icon and used the vital blue color as the background to highlight the golden clothes and the yellow-skinned Madonna to correspond.

The blue and gold series show “the blue of faith” and “the sea blue of the virgin”, self-reported in the blues of gold, sprinkled and presented in a reborn way. Another series of gazes portrays the intertwined emotions of gazing at people through “transformation” and ” with the concept of “mixed”, Chen Yi-Chiao used the iconic Western classical image and added Asian characters in her works, to reflect the contemporary art in the 21st-century.
